It's the other way around - they work if your king is NOT starving, i.e. the hunger percentage is 60+

As long as your king is not starving they can be used, so basically all the time if you're feeding/actively exploring with him. It's just the way that the hunger bar being lower/higher is sometimes phrased, it gets confusing!

Yeah, my brain is still not processing that correct. It says "Double energy regeneration only works if your leader is at 59% hunger "Or" lower". Should that last bit say higher if it only works above sixty percent?

No, if it was higher than 60% then your king would be starving. 60-100% hunger is extremely hungry. Hunger works the opposite way to the other progress bars, it technically DECREASES as you feed him, rather than increasing. Because if you're 0% hungry then you're full, right? That's the logic. Whereas amusement etc is perfect at 100%, hunger is perfect at 0%.

So 'lower than 59% hunger' in this instance means 0-58%, i.e. not starving, your king is perfectly fine. This is the normal amount of hunger your king can have before being in the red and no longer regaining energy properly. If you're playing normally then you'll be in this category 99% of the time, so you'll be able to use a red bull or roasted lamb without any issues at all. For instance right now your king is at 0% hunger, so you can use these items on him as normal.

Now I'd like a survey on that. See if others find that as unintuitive as I do. lol, If I'm at 100# just had a meal & if at zero that's starving.
