Before we start, I wanted to say thank you so much for all the supports!! If you have any suggestions go ahead and leave them please!
~
I was looking around, and i thought of a new lethal idea. Its a bone disease that can happen with people and animals. Its basically a mutation where all bones gradually take over other parts of the body, such as muscles, and ligaments and turn them to bone. This is also known as stone man syndrome.

This process generally becomes noticeable in early childhood, starting with the neck and shoulders and proceeding down the body and into the limbs.

Extra-skeletal bone formation causes progressive loss of mobility as the joints become affected. Inability to fully open the mouth may cause difficulty in speaking and eating. Over time, people with this disorder may experience malnutrition due to their eating problems. They may also have breathing difficulties as a result of extra bone formation around the rib cage that restricts expansion of the lungs

Messages:

0 months: You've picked up that [Cub] Doesn't wiggle as much as the others. Maybe its a lazy one.

5 months: [Cub] cant move their toes on one paw! How odd, its like they were trapped in time!

8 months: [Cubs] tail wont move anymore, its all bone. Maybe it could help.

11 months: [Cub] Said that they could no longer feel their leg, and as you looked it was stuck curled up.

1 year 4 months: [Cub] Was complaining about being hungry.. Maybe its jaw is becoming solid as well..

Death message 1: [Cub] has passed away, it seems its airways slowly closed and they suffocated in the night.
Death Message 2: [Cub] has passed away due to malnutrition, they could never get enough to eat with their jaw becoming stuck.

1.5 years to 4 years is when they will die.

Its a mutation for both genders.

Other messages:

{Cub} Seems to have tripped their clan mate with their tail.. Now {clanmate} Is ignoring them.

{Cub} Was running and smacked their foot. They say they were fine, and didn't feel it.

{Cub} has been alone all day. Nobody wants to play, nor train with them because they seemed odd.

{cub} Asked if you think they can ever fit in with the others.

{cub} was playing with you, and they decided to use their tail as a weapon. Ouch.

`I really hope this hasnt been asked for lol, and i hope ya like it :}

please not another lethal... that's the reason for my downvote. I want some mutations that celebrate life not cause death.

I love this idea! we've got plenty of living mutations, and more on the way it seems, another lethal to accompany them would be very good. Plus, this one seems so cool, perhaps it could be released next halloween, as it is very spooky

100% support, I would make it so the lion will die at 7 years instead of 16 ( because 40 years [lifespan of this mutation] is middle-aged ) and at adult they could have a different base and stuff also as an adol too

If if this is likely but I'd like to see near the years they will die, they get... More like a living statue if that makes sense

OH!!! Maybe they could be able to be kinged and such, but live up to 7-8 years or so, when they hit 6 1/2 years they'd automatically retire due to not being able to move at all and so you must choose a new king? And at 5 1/2 years would begin the time you could retire the king?

Kinda like Rouge Legacy, also want some adult lethal muts that can be kinged because I would love seeing kings not living like 16 or so years all the time and let the princex/heir take over early from the king's death or something

I don't think they would be able to be kinged, due to toe fact their muscles and joints are practically becoming bone!

Support! However, I'd personally prefer that you get a cub health notification at 0 months to prevent foddering before you are aware of the mutation if it is not immediately evident, or if the cub has unique art like most lethals, as a neat way to let somebody know.

I would also like their lifespan to be expanded into adulthood, as we have very few adult lethals, with the only one currently being deaf, and because humans with the condition have survived into adulthood. I agree with Readytest that 7 years is a nice maximum. Perhaps the lions could die between 5-7 years, with the final health notification and art change (if doable to have more than average) appearing at 5 years.

I do not think that they should be kingable, as a lion with this condition would be significantly physically disabled, especially later on. Other significant disabilities are not kingable either. I'd imagine that it would make the role of king exponentially more difficult and unfeasible, as unlike most humans, they are living in the wild and would encounter many potentially dangerous situations that would require the ability to fight, move with relative ease, and use their senses to survive in the long term. A pridemate could perhaps be protected, but a king, I'd assume not so much due to their role.
