Hey!
I'm offering a quick little idea that I grew fond of in my brains, so here goes.
There's a frenzied looking old hag in the den behind. She seems sneaky and mysterious... Be careful! Walk on the tip of your beans tonight!

She feeds you food (you can pick like in the monkey shop, in two different rows, feed all , or all cubs/all adolescent/all females/males etc, or each lion picked differently.)
She'd feed them fully at a price depending on the hunger level obviously, but the most she feeds a lion the most possible the chance to get a bonus.

Bonus:

Bonus includes usually a +1 skill if the lion has been fed a critical impact of food (this is majored by hunger fueled by the witch, mostly, and the number of times this lion was fed by the witch before)

Sometimes she'll feed certain bonus or potions to certain lions..; with one marking/mane etc, but it is unknown wich (every time she comes back it changes and people could technically guess by testing their lions, but she is quick on her toes and she disappears before people can find it, most than not.

Be fed by Baba x times :
Your lion has been fed by Baba x times!
