[THE PRIDE]

Members of the Order generally share one characteristic: bright orange-cream coats that are as bright as the sun's rays. However, some lionesses occasionally have a brown-cream or pure white coat, due to them being descended from the original founder: Riot. But despite the few oddballs, they still fit right in.

The Order has a strict hierarchy with many ranks, dividing them into high and low ranks. Each member is expected to stay within their rank and to not overstep their boundaries, lest they face punishment from the Empress and Golden Guard(s). The biggest belief in the order is that those who are born with a fierce fire coat are directly blessed by the Tigress herself and are considered to be her prophets. As a gift to the Empress, in exchange for their undying loyalty and sacrifices, she is granted with otherworldly powers as well as the ability to heal themselves and others.

HIERARCHY

The high ranks (save for the lead guard and queen) will always have the Tigress' blessing (mandarin coat) and have special dual word names to show their rank. if a cub is born too weak/a lioness grows too weak to perform their duties, they must be sacrificed to the Tigress. Meanwhile, those born or are related to the current Empress always have animal and insect related names, whilst those who are unrelated have nature and phenomenon names.

HIGH RANKS
> Empress - She is the leader of the Order and makes the final decisions for the Order. She must always be female and have the Tigress' blessing. She eats first, sleeps in the best spot and has the power to kill or exile codebreakers, leading rituals and heals the Order's injuries and ailments.
Heir - The heir must always be female and have the Tigress' blessing. She helps the Empress and helps during rituals and punishments, as well as gathering healing supplies.
Queen - She is the Empress' chosen mate. The Queen helps the Empress during healing rituals.
Golden Guards - They are lionesses born with the Tigress' blessing and are trained by the Empress and Queen themselves to become assassins for the Order. Once fully trained, they become full prophets and play an important role during sacrifice rituals for the Tigress.

LOW RANKS
Fighters - They're lionesses responsible for hunting and fighting for the Order. They must obey all orders from the Empress, Queen and Golden Guards, lest they face punishment or even death.
Nannies - They are lionesses in charge of looking after and protecting the cubs, more specifically cubs under 1 year old.
Cubs - Any lioness below 2 years old is considered a cub. Cubs underneath 1 year old aren't allowed to set foot beyond camp walls, whilst cubs over 1 year old are under strict watch when outside the camp.
Males - When a male cub is born and isn't sacrificed to the Tigress, they're forced into a trial of survival to determine if he's worthy to remain in the Order. If he survives to adolescence, he's considered to be the lowest rank in the Order. He eats last, fights for his own spot and his only job is to patrol the territory and clean nests.

OUR HISTORY

It started long ago when a lion named Riot had conquered the original inhabitants of the grasslands, establishing a small fierce pride. However, his rein was cut short by a bloodthirsty lioness named Konoe, who had grown tired of cruelty. But despite her hatred to him, she had maintained his cruel order. Her heir, Dark Shadows, rightfully took over following her death and became the new 'King'.

One day, during a powerful spiritual trance, Dark Shadows was visited by a powerful and ancient tigress spirit. The spirit introduced herself as the Tigress and charmed the lioness with otherworldly knowledge and promises of immense power. Upon waking up, she immediately reestablished the rules and changed their name to the Order of the Tigress.
