Corianderthorn stood up from her nest, and headed over to the herb store to check what they already had enough of, and what needed to be collected. She realized they hadn't had much catmint or tansy, and then looked outside the den, which was covered in snow. She frowned, flicked her tail, and walked out the den.

Frostfox was rising up from her nest , Corianderthorn had just left the den. They were low on tansy and catmint, was that why Corianderthorn left? Well, she might as well leave too, she had to check on her clanmates. It was cold this leaf-bare, greencough ought to be coming soon, and they werent prepared.

Shatteredkit Snuck out of her nest trying not to wake her mother, running out into the camp clearing, she looked around. "hey! I'll be a apprentice soon, I should see my soon to be den!" She squeaked, but before she could even make it close to the den she tumbled over a small rock, running into Frostfox, almost making her trip.

before frostfox could even make it to the clearing a little body tumbled in front of her, almost making her trip , only when it stopped moving did she recognize the little body, Shatteredkit stood in front of her now. Frostfox lashed her tail, then sighed, "Shatteredkit, shoudn't you be with your mother? Your not even a apprentice yet!"

Shatteredkit huffed " I'm almost an apprentice! " she said "and for my mom..... " she trailed off looking at the at the nursery den trying to hide the the fact that she snuck out, "she said I could go out!" She lied "But, I am bored, anything I can do?" She asked now that was the truth

``Marble'Fur, had just woken up in the nest of all queens and kits, when she suddenly noticed that her kit, Shattered'kit, wasn't laying beside her. She jumped on her paws in a hurry, looking all around and between the nests. What was it that has taken her kit?! Or had her kit run out by herself? Marble'Fur's stomach ached with worry, as she quickly ran outside turning her head around watching out for her kit. She snatched her head around, when she heard a tiny voice coming from near the apprentice's den. She saw her kit Shattered'kit talking to Frost'Fox, a well appreciated med cat. Marble'Fur nearly stumbled as she ran over to them, almost knocking her kit over with the force that she used to quickly lick her tongue over the kit's head.``

"Shattered'kit! You scared me to death! How could you be such a mouse'brained kit and run off without telling or asking me?"

`` Marble'Fur looked at the kit angrily but also with deep relief``

"I'm so sorry Frost'Fox, I hope she did not disturb you with your important tasks!``

Shatteredkit groaned "mom, I'm fine!" She squeaked pulling away from her mother, "plus you were asleep and you would've just been grouchy if I had woken you up! AND I'm almost an apprentice, I can take of myself!" She bounced around her mom, "I wonder who my mentor will be! Oh! I hope it's the best cat in the clan! I'm gonna be a leader one day" she squeaked still bouncing around
