mostly just made the base look cleaner and added a few different shades to help balance out colors better :)

i come to introduce to you all a concept of a base called persian :)
it would be a cream dark countershaded special base

i have two versions of this, mostly because 1) the original looked too much like ragdoll but i like it anyways and 2) the original wasn't cream enough for me to justify it being a cream base. i tried to go for more of a cat-like look but the original direction was persian rug so i tried to incorporate it a little? it didn't work haha
they will be referred to as "original persian" and "cream persian"

i was thinking this could be a combo base! or it could be a raffle base, but i feel like it looks a little too much like ragdoll to be disconnected from it, so combo base! it would be between ragdoll, saffron (this one was suggested by fenli), wine, and asiatic!



ragdoll-- cat (like the persian breed lol)
wine-- persia was one of the first places wine appeared
saffron-- very very widely used & produced in iran (modern-day persia)
asiatic-- asiatic leopards live in iran

some additional factors would be umber and amber :)
(just because i desperately wish umber had a combo and amber maybe possibly fits with the theme)

if this base were to have markings i personally nominate siamese, feline 8, and brindle i've seen them and i love them
