Hello! I have seen a lot of people asking recently what stat/mut repping is and how to do it. I haven’t seen a full guide on it, so I thought I would make one!

INTRODUCTION
So you have a king that you love, but their stats are so-so. You find the perfect heir, but they have no mutation. Never fear, the Art of Repping is here! This is a comprehensive guide that goes over each part of replacing your king for a variety of reasons, while still maintaining the looks you love.

WHAT IS REPPING/REPLACING
You may have seen the term "repping" or "replacing" being used around the site. What this means in simple terms, is someone is going to use a lion of higher stats, shorter heritage, and/or better mutation status to essentially create their perfect king. This can be done both during the natural retirement cooldown for an additional fee, or waiting until the king is old enough to retire on his own.

THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF REPPING
There are 3 main reasons one might decide to rep your king.
Heritage (often used for clean breeding)
Stats (Though they have little effect on game-play, they are desirable for some)
Mutation

For practicalities sake, I will use myself as an example in using all 3.

I purchased a lion with 4 specific markings that I needed for a project I am working on. While his looks fit my needs in every way, he has a long heritage that includes inbreeding, as well as not having a mutation.
However, in addition to purchasing this perfect LOOKS heir, I also found a REP. This was a young cub that suited my desire for a mutation, low heritage and decent stats. The looks were plain and undesirable, but together these two lions made a perfect pair.

HOW TO REP/REPLACE A KING
It happens that as this guide is being made, I am preparing to replace my current king with a new king and will be heritage repping him at a later date so I will be able to record that process as I go.

WHAT DO I NEED & HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
In order to do a full replacement, you will need an heir with LOOKS you want, and an heir with HERITAGE, STATs, and/or MUTATION that you want. Once you have these, you can determine how much it will cost.

While repping your king can be done at any time, if it is during the typical cool-down time, it will cost .
Retiring at any age before 15 years will cost 10GB.
In addition, if you choose to retire your leader again within 30 rollovers of their last retirement, there is an extra 15GB fee, bringing the total retirement fee to 25GB

What that means is, if you find an heir and king them before your current king is 15 years old, it will cost you 10GB. Then if you choose to immediately replace that king with your heritage/stat/mutation rep while keeping the current king's looks, it will cost an additional 25GB. Bringing your total for an entire replacement to 35GB.
That is not always the case though, and it all depends on where you are with your current king, if you're keeping your current king's looks, and so on.

Current king is ready to retire, (15+ years) keeping the looks but repping immediately: FREE
Current king is ready for retirement bypass, (30 rollovers after kinged) keeping looks but repping immediately: 10GB
Current king is NOT ready for retirement bypass, (less than 30 days after kinged) keeping looks but repping immediately: 25GB

Current king is ready to retire, (15+ years) NOT keeping the looks AND repping immediately: FREE for looks replacement, 25GB for immediate rep TOTAL: 25GB
Current king is ready for retirement bypass, (30 rollovers after kinged) NOT keeping looks AND repping immediately: 10GB for looks replacement, 25GB for immediate rep TOTAL: 35GB
Current king is NOT ready for retirement bypass, (less than 30 days after kinged) NOT keeping looks AND repping immediately: 25GB for looks replacement, 25GB for immediate rep TOTAL: 50GB

Of course, there is always the option to wait for the cool-downs to end before repping your king to save some money, but paying to replacement is always an option!
