Name: Cleopatra (or just Cleo)

Gender: female

Species: Phoenix

Looks: A very fiery-feathered orange phoenix who is around 4ft in height, and wide-spread wings. Around Cleo's neck is a stunning Jade necklace with a carved orange jewel in the centre that almost seems to glow.

Background story :
She was raised as a familiar when Jade found the egg damp and wet by the river bed, and used her magic to revive the spark inside it. Cleo is more intelligent than most other phoenixes, and communicates in clicks and caws towards her witch.


Name: Jade Matts

Gender: Female (she/they)

Species: forest elf (but practises witch-craft)

Looks: She has long, almost black brown hair that is unevenly cut and almost always full of stray leaves and flower petals, and a sandy-coloured cardigan draped over a white top. Her eyes are a kind of yellow-amber colour, her skin is olive and smooth, and she has pointed, elf-like ears that she usually hides beneath a green beanie. Covering her face are very faint freckles that she is insecure about, which is why she has a kind of carved out wood-mask which she wears when going outside. Her trousers are a light brown and baggy, and she doesn't really wear shoes.
Around her neck is a gold necklace with an intricately carved green crystal that has the markings of a phoenix on it.

Background story :
Her parents tried to raise her as a gardener for the forest elves, but eventually she found out about witchcraft. The spells and herbs were mesmerising to watch, and she spent every day talking to the village Prophet, who was the closest thing she could find to an actual witch. She later started practising the spells, and when she found Cleo she decided she wanted to be a forest witch, who had herbs and healed injured animals. So become a forest witch she did.

Name: Dante Magneer

Gender: Male [He/They/Him]

Species: Dark Fey {Maleficent}

Looks: Dante is a 7’ albino male with pale skin that is permanently blushed pink in some areas, his hair is a pristine white with small black streaks and reaches pass his waist and his eyes are both a reddened color. Dante is a unique being and has a rather large pair of feathered wings attached to his back, they sit high and are always kept clean due to his constant preening, this goes for his tail feathers as well. Both are a beautiful Snow White with black spots scattered within the feathers, most likely to help blend in snowy areas.

Background story : Dante was never used to living with humans, he never really had contact with one until he had to move to a human city, though it wasn’t really full of humans he could tell there were other mythical beings there as well but that made him even more timid than what he was. His English wasn’t that well either since his species usually kept contact up within their own language, and he’s sure he’ll be quite the eye catcher with his bright colors and mysterious eyes. He’s a quick learner though so he’s sure he’ll pick up the language quite fast.

Name: Echo

Gender: Female

Species: Griffin/Gryphon
Griffins are mythical creatures, half lion and half eagle/hawk. They (in my mind) are noble and graceful animals, wise and respectful.

Looks: Echo is a dark gray griffin with wings mottled in lighter shades of gray and silver. Her head, that of an eagle, is a very pale, almost white gray. Her beak and talons are silver, and she has aqua and white beads braided into her crest and tail tip. Around her neck is a bead necklace of large, round aqua and white beads, on which hangs a large white-and-black charm (The Yin-Yang Symbol). She wears matching earrings, and also a mantle of coppery brown feathers. Parts of her body are shot through with white blotches, which a slowly but surely spreading through her body.

Background story :

Echo was born to a griffin pride in the West. She was very skilled in her flight, but made a poor warrior. So, instead she turned to the small Eastern griffin communities, and honed her art of healing. She aided patients with illnesses, injuties, and other problems. If someone felt depressed for no reason, they would come to her and she would soothe them with special oils. Cough? Warm milk wiyh honey. She became well-known dor being a good healer, and was welcomed at every door. But Echo saw those she couldn't help; The griffin's cities were up in the sky, unaccesable for anyone with no wings. And even when a non-griffin did manage to come, they were refused into the city. Sick youngsters, elders with headaches, warriors with lethal injuries. She wanted to help.
Echo made her choice. Every Summer, she would go down and around the World, aiding anyone who needed it, griffin or not. And every winter, she would go up to the griffin cities above, and heal them.
Today, Echo descends for her first half-year downstairs. Are her wings up for it?

Name : Shriken

Species : Wendigo

Looks : Like a normal Wendigo but.. Less bloody and looks more like a friendly deer but still has its tough skull and antlers. It has a black pelt like the midnight sky. Almost like a deer with Melanism.

Background story : Shriken was born in a bush but he was blind so he didn't see who gave birth to him. Once he opened his eyes he was alone. Left to fend for himself. He adapted to his surroundings quickly but never knew how to BE a Wendigo since he was left alone at birth. He wasn't afraid of humans or anything. He just wandered alone with other deer but got weird strange looks from other deer since he was a Wendigo. He just ate berries like the other deer trying to fit in. He is now about 5 years old and was eventually left alone. He knew he was an out cast from the others so now he fends for himself alone trying to learn how to be a Wendigo.

Name: Crypt

Gender: male

Species: water kelpie

Looks: A mottled grey and black kelpie, around 7 feet tall, who's front half is horse, while his back half is replaced with a more fish-like appendage for swimming. His pelt is almost scaly and coarse, and he has a long black mane that usually has kelp or fish bones stuck in it. He normally takes the form of a mottled grey horse when on land, and his tail is long enough to drag against the ground. He has very sharp white eyes and large backwards hooves that are covered with fur above them, making him not unlike a clydesdale horse.
Human form: His human form is a tall, roughly 6 ft, pale-skinned man with white hair and yellow-ish eyes. His hand seems to be injured, most likely an injury that is hidden in his horse form, and he has a dirty bandage over that.

Background story :
He was raised in a solitary river and quickly learned that he had to fight to survive. There were many other water creatures that competed with him, and eventually he moved somewhere else and grew more used to luring humans into water for food, sooner or later teaching himself to speak with them. He is a much more sinister kelpie, and has bad motives. Despite this, he has a soft spot for deer, thinks they are majestic.
