Apologies if this or similar has been suggested. It might deserve to be shot on sight. I accept that risk. XD

The mechanic: when lionesses have very low mood or very high hunger and are in heat, they have a very small chance of their next litter being fathered by one of your sub males. Or maybe only if she runs away and is retrieved...with this surprise litter in tow!

The rationale: sometimes occurs in real life, would add a fun element of risk/reward, lore drama, possibly increase SB demand for runaway recovery and thus general activity.

Unsure if anything is game-breaking, but I was thinking the odds would be quite low (comparable to first-gen hybrid births) in addition to being a challenge for the user to orchestrate.

Cheers all, and thanks for reading!

I only ever have potato groupie submales, so I wouldn't really want any of my lioness' heats to be taken by them x( My lions don't get too hungry very often, but it'd be pretty unfortunate if, say, a raffle lioness was on her last heat (14 years old) and ended up pregnant without being able to use a crunchy worm on her first.

Plus, if a lion runs away for 1 rollover, would the cubs already be born once retrieved? Or would she come back pregnant for 2 or 3 days?

Oh, good point! It would make more sense for her to be "mysteriously" pregnant when she returned.

I still support, even tho I made it so that one of the lionesses I have ISN'T my king's daughter -- she IS one of my submale's cubs.

I personally don't see how or why it is rejected nor can see how it breaks the game I sometimes wish the admins could tell us exactly why the rejected suggestions are -- well, rejected. I see Scatch do this with rejected reasons via their rejected suggestions list, and I see topics suggesting those rejected topics posted rarely, if at all.

Unfortunately, this game isn't Scratch. I'm pretty sure the admin's reasons for rejecting sub male breeding is because they want only our males to be able to breed- there may be more reasons, but they've been rejecting suggestions like this ever since sub males were implemented, so I'm sure they've elaborated somewhere. The "auto-rejected" suggestions will never be implemented, no matter how many times users suggest them. It's unfortunate, but that's just how it goes.

Sometimes, the admins just don't want something to be a part of the game, and that's okay. Like you said, players can just have it in their lore that their lions/lionesses aren't actually the kings' cubs, and are instead cubs of a subordinate male- it's a good alternative to getting around a suggestion that won't be accepted, even if you really want it to be.
Custom Decor creators sometimes make decor that makes their lion look like they have two mutations, for example, even though double mutations are also on the "auto-rejected" list.

Yes, but rejecting some things without giving people a chance to make very convincing points to make them reconsider is sometimes not the way to go IMO.

Before the list was posted, people did give points in support of those suggestions. The staff still weren't swayed by them, and enough people were suggesting it that they made the list to prevent them from being suggested further, as they're pretty hard set on not adding any of the suggestions on the list.

Like I said, it's unfortunate, but that's how it is sometimes. The staff doesn't want to implement it, and we have to respect their choice, even if we'd like to see it in the game.
