The man dug through the medicine boxes, his head lifting at each waking sound he heard. Valentin killed most of the walkers in his area, but it was rather hard for him to kill silently. He was so used to using his gun that he only had three bullets left. He needed to save and be quiet. He started to bag some medicine quickly, not knowing someone could be in the building with him. Alive.

Bella darted into the nearby building, desperate to escape the zombies. She slammed the door closed and locked it. Then she collapsed from exhaustion. She knew she wasn't out of the zombies reach yet, but she was too exhausted to go any further

The sound of the door closing scared the living shit out of Valentin, his hand reaching for the Glock and pointing at Bella. His first instinct was to shoot, but seeing her collapse made him pretty sure she wasn't a zombie. What type of Zombie could lock a door? He nudged her with his boot to see if she was dead, glancing down at her.

His eyes widened hearing her speak. Valentin looked like he was of African American descent, having long locs that were dyed blond on the edges. But it seemed rather unkempt; not like he could do anything when the world was like this. Even though she probably wasn't a threat, he couldn't risk being taken advantage of. "Who are you?" Valentin asked, still pointing his gun and not even going over to help her up.

"Bella. Bella Slidem" the name was recognizable as a once famous family. Now reduced to nobody but Bella due to the apocalypse. Most assumed Bella had died at the beginning as well.
