So something I've been thinking about for a while is the Auto-Claim feature for lionesses in explore... there have been several times when I've wanted a Chased I encounter, but feel like I can claim her on my own, so I try... and at two hearts left, I click the last move with hope and get only one - and she's lost forever... it's extremely disheartening. My suggestion is changing the Auto-Claim (and Leopard Orchid Claim) just a little bit so that it gives you a chance to Auto-Claim after you've already lost at trying to claim normally! I feel like this would help both Lioden and the Players, since giving that option after the fact will allow more chances to spend GB instead of blocking it at the end, as well as give players more of a chance to try and feel the accomplishment of doing it on their own without feeling the disappointment and regret of missing out in the end if it fails. they would have to change how it works. as far as i know, as soon as she slaps, she's deleted, even if you're still on the claiming page after failing. they'd have to make it so she deletes once you return to explore. otherwise though, if thats possible, i dont see why not.  2 players like this post! Honestly, i recently discovered this wasn't already an option and i was a lil bummed by losing a pretty girl after messing up the claim. Coding can be tricky, ye, but if it's feasible and not too much trouble for the team somewhere down the line, that would be a nice QoL update. :0c 2 players like this post! Like? |

this happened to me back in april tryna claim my wenet cousin  didn't know you couldn't use a leopard orchid after you failed. 100% support bc that ruined my day  2 players like this post! Like? |

I have also lost a few Lionesses I really wanted, but this is not really something I would like to have added. Some actions should have consequences, and loosing an NCL by chosing the wrong moves is what makes the whole claiming process exciting for me. Having the option to autoclaim a Lioness even after she clearly is not interested in you, just by throwing (virtual) money at her removes this challenge. 3 players like this post! Like? |

That may be Tharkenta, but sometimes what would 99% of the time be a good move suddenly turns into a bad one, which can be very frustrating. Besides, you already have the option to auto-claim before a fail, which you could argue removes the challenge as well. Not like you're forced to use it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 6 players like this post! Like? |

True, but that's a decision you made BEFORE the lioness might reject you. By using the GB Option or a Leopard Orchid you actively aviod taking the risk of loosing her. If you try to claim her the traditional way, you accept the challenge and risk of loosing that lion. In my opinion there should be no way to undo this lost challenge. 1 player likes this post! Hmm I do see what you're saying Tharkenta! It would remove some of the challenge - but you'd still be losing 2gb to auto-claim after a fail, so there would still be a loss you'd encounter by failing the claim. 2gb is a very high price to many players, and one that many won't be able to/may choose not to pay even if they wanted the lioness. Also agree with Rosia! The claim process is tricky/seems a bit random - what works most times with one lioness of the same personality won't work with another. 2 hearts left of what seems to be a fail-safe last claim move turns out to be a fail and it ruins what would have otherwise been a positive boost to the day. One idea factoring in concerns is that auto-claim could be raised to 3gb after a fail, to balance it out a bit and keep a higher element of risk? 6 players like this post! Like? |

It's not about the price you have to pay. The lionesses very clearly tell you, that they are not interested in joining your pride. Sometimes the text even let's you know she's ran away and/or slapped you. This would be like being able to use a Lucky Foot after loosing a battle. Some enemies are frustrating to find and hard to defeat (The Prophet lion from September for example, many people hate him). 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hmm you do have a point, but that's all random flavor text that doesn't actually effect anything besides describing the end result for immersion - You could say the same about using a leopard orchid or auto-claim normally as it works now because both override what RNG would have decided that the lioness would do without it and give her no choice. I'm sure the Liogods would find a way to make it make sense and fit in well if they decide to implement it! (Also I'm sure that the lioness would rather be auto-claimed at the end than be deleted forever if given the choice haha) Is just a suggestion that I felt could help =) I am glad to see all sides and concerns! 3 players like this post! The whole "consequences" thing rings kinda hollow given how RNG based the claiming game is. I've lost a lot of lionesses even when I did everything right during the claiming quests. Sometimes you can lose a lioness in only 3 steps, and changes in the heart/flames meter can be very unpredictable 5 players like this post! Like? |
