Support! Personally I would love to see more of the "oil" part more prominent. A little brighter, a little more visible, and definitely more of it. Currently it kinda just looks like rainbow slapped on jet/onyx. I do love it as a concept and the mock up is nice.

I just didnt want to go overboard with the rainbow, as i really did just want it to be a noticable hint of that rainbow shimmer haha, but i'll def do a mock up of it with more rainboW!

I was basing mine more off of an actual large volume of oil! Its usually pitch black with this vague rainbow shimmer ^^ but i did a small mock up of some more color tossed on!

Tentative support. I love the concept of something inspired by an oil spill, but I do think that this would work better as a marking rather than a base; I think being able to play with the opacity and having control over the main colour would make this a lot more interesting to work with. As a base, it does feel a little too situational, as the extra colours will likely are quite faint and don't have much coverage, so with markings, it may not seem all that different from a regular black base.

However, although it may be situational, I am all for variety, and it is absolutely aesthetically pleasing. Perhaps it could be obtained through one of the environmental encounters?

A small edit: out of the two versions, I personally prefer the second one.

supported! i do like the original idea a little more because if you look at images of spilled oil online, its not always so rainbow-y looking. it has more of a blue-greener shade, not necessarily rainbowy? ig rainbow could be in certain lighting...

it could be incredibly interesting for this to be craftable, earned through a rare encounter, or as an applicator during march's anti-poaching event or august's drought and fires...

I do like the first version better as well honestly ^^ I think it would be really cool to have it be a rare obtainable skin like interstellar is! (I think that's the base)

The idea of it being during the environmental month I think is perfect, and pretty clever! I love what high on the nip had mocked up, though if it were me I'd personally love to see it as something you can't avoid, as sadly that is how it really works! I imagine it'd be pretty rare and I would love the prompt to describe what other animals are trapped and how shiny it looks

As stated previous I've had experience with large drums of oil so I think the first rendition best respects how they look ^^

Now that i have had a bit of a think on it, having it be an encounter you could lose would be interesting as well! Perhaps you could win an oil covered animal decor or something else, with the chance of getting the applicator being low! That might be fun
