Note: this is not a SPECIFIC "mane mutation", such as "Mane Noble" or "Mane Villous" inspired by this post on one of my old suggestions, the person never got around to making a topic: "Personally, I do think a mutation where a female lioness had a male's mane would be cool. Not exactly a mane mutation, more so a gender specific one that's just the opposite of Maneless for females" (@Wyrm, #450143) This suggestion is for a mutation where if a female has it, her mane will show up! As opposed to being a specific mane mutation, she will just have a male's mane shape, like blade or crested! (so if you change her mane shape, the art will change) please do not no support this for "being work for the artists". literally every mutation suggestion on this site requires work for the artists. |

I don't hate the idea, though I feel like adding it would probably be confusing/strange with the already existing mane mutations. You make a valid point regarding no supporting based purely on the artist workload x) Considering the new male pose has taken freaking years though, I'm not sure the art team can even handle anything else for a while yet LOL  1 player likes this post! To me this makes no sense. they already have manes. i personally find this would be better as a custom decor. No support from me 0 players like this post! Like? |

because females arent suppose to have those manes. to me it is best to keep those male only. females already have nice manes, and qute hoenstly few of the male manes can compare to the female manes. if anything i personally think a custom decor is better. EDIT: along with that there is already few things that males have for themselves. Manes shoudl stay one of those things that are male only. 0 players like this post! there are natural occurences where a female can develop a mane, so this makes sense as a mutation honestly. and I'd love to see a lioness with some of the fluffy manes we have now (I cant afford custom decor) supporting! 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I’m very confused. You want a mane mutation that….isn’t a mane mutation? How would that be discernible at all from the current in-game mane mutations? What exactly would set it apart? All the female maned AMPs are literally maned female mutations lol 2 players like this post! Like? |

I'm going t start off by saying i don't hate the idea, at all actually. But i feel like we wouldn't be able to do it, since players may feel they should be able to lab frog a male and get the same effect that you're suggesting. Have no dea if that makes sense 0 players like this post! Like? |

No support, really, because we already have a few mane mutations for them that does give them a "male mane". Mane Feathery, Mane Noble, Mane Shaggy, Mane Succubus - these all get coloured manes. However it sounds to me like you're more suggesting you want more male poses, honestly, it seems like you want the females to have male manes in their poses/general existence - which can be achieved with decors? Here is a majority of the decors. We already have Barbary and Rugged, and there's also the "Glorious" mane set too. I'm kind of uh, confused by this because it doesn't read like a viable/purposeful suggestion. ^^; I'd be more inclined to support if it was just more decors you were after, as that would make vastly more sense than a mane-mut-that-isn't-a-mut. 1 player likes this post! I think freaking is trying to say that there arw already decors that cover a lot of the regular male manes, and that they don't support thing as a mutation but would support as a decor. I would have to agree to this as well. If we are gonna have female Mane Mutations, I would prefer them to be like the ones we already have in the sense that they are unique and not just copies of the male manes. Plus I believe that male manes should stay unique to males. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I can see where you're coming from with this idea, but personally I'm not supporting. While I like the vibe of a female lioness having a mane that corresponds to her genetic mane shape, I prefer the existing mechanic we have in place for female manes. I like that lionesses can have mane shapes and textures that male lions don't have (e.g. villous), and personally I don't think this would add too much to the gameplay. However, I would love to see this implemented as a decor instead! Having a Razor or Crested mane that you can equip to your lioness would be so much fun, especially for lab frogged kings who are looking to advertise their mane shape.
