I just made my first custom decor and want to ask any CD creators for tips before submitting. This is mostly about shading but I’m open for anything else you see!  Here are three ways I did the shading for Achromia: 1. Just shading  2. Shading with light pink  3. Shading with light pink and feather lines  Edit: The pictures should be showing now. Some comments I've gotten when submitting that might apply here: ~ Lineart being too sharp & Needs to be softened - Duplicate the lineart layer. Lower the opacity of one of these layers and add a SLIGHT Gaussian Blur to the other. ~ Shading isn't defined - There needs to be defined shadows on the feathers and on the face beneath the bottom wings. These shadows are incredibly important for definition. I'd suggest making those changes and submitting it. It might take a few days for them to respond, but they'll give you feedback on what change to make. Good luck!! Wonderful decor idea ♥ 1 player likes this post! Like? |
