Tips and Tricks!
1) You can get silver beetles for those pesky scar decors by going to monkey business and selecting them all under the individual selection. You will get 3 sb for most of the scars. Like long right eye or basic leg scars.
2) Bumping your trades regularly will help others find them better, the same rules applies to posting ads in sales chat or on forums.
3) Save your exp for specific events, the exp bars refresh your energy and you can use that to get you more currency via explore during vital months like February, where you can use the copious(large) amount of currency to buy breeding items and apps to sell later.
4) During the last 3-4 days of important months like december or February, saving the currency you have left after collecting the items you want, will help you get ahead next year.
5) Save your feathers and bury them so you can come back to them later when they are many, then turn them into nesting supplies.
6)When hunting, the most efficient way I've found is to hunt as much as possible in watering holes, marshlands, or plains. Keep the large carcasses like elephant calves, Buffalo, and hippos. Sell the rest.
7) When gaining beetles, you can use the market to your advantage. Collect up to 5,000 silver beetles, use them to buy gold beetles at 600 sb per 1 gb, then sell the gold beetles for 1,000 silver beetles. And repeat. The process may be slow but if you can stop spending it all then it will gradually pay off.
8) Have at least 5 or more hunters, send them out regularly and frequently. They finish hunting at 30 minutes at most and if you have more hunters then you will have more chances to hunt for large prey.
9) If you need last minute silver beetles, you can save your amusement like skulls and ribs, bury them in your hoard and you can sell them when you need emergency beetles
10) Don't buy that random crappy lion/beetle/item that you feel an impulse to buy. It's a waste of beetles and you know you need those beetles later if you need a scrotum or lion meat for that one stupid mutie who refuses to pass or anything.
11) Its ok to kill that ugly as sin nasty looking mutie, unless it's a rare mutie. Then go get advice. Pies and primals are more common and easy to obtain, your allowed to kill it if it's an ugly kitty. that or make it prettier. If you can't salvage it's appearance then get rid of it.
12) Of you pick evil karma then you can save the white lion pelts and wildebeest carcasses for yourself. If you sell the white lion pelts then you should go for no lower then 150 sb, check the branches to see if you can higher and still sell quickly. If you price higher. You will wait longer but get more beetles out of it.
13) Avoid over pricing excessively, if you list a gold beetle for about 1200 or 1100, that's fine. It's only lightly higher then the normal 1000 sb per 1 gb. But if your pricing as high as 3000 per gb then it will likely not sell. Go for the current average price and list the item for either just over or just under based on how long you are willing to wait for it to sell.
14) One good trait does not make a lion valuable unless its a rare mut like dorsal fur. Singular valuable traits will likely only boost the value of the look by a meager 50-200 sb.
15) People watching your trades is good. It means they like/want what is being offered and see considering the choices or are trying to gain the stuff needed to obtain what you offered.
16) If your buying apps during events to sell or stud with then go for marking or base apps that are combos, or highly desired by your selected audience. Design and theme the markings together, for example:
