What battles are being repelled while using this item?
Any battle encounter where the only options given are Attack or Ignore.

Examples of encounters that do NOT count: The smug leopard flirting with a lioness, NCL encounters, the pretty leopardess, the elephant dung, etc.
All of the above encounters allow you to fight, but as that is not their only purpose they wouldn’t count.

What about the event encounters?
Any battle encounter that is specific to an event is also exempt from the effects of the item. For example, in January there are multiple battles with hyenas and vultures specific to that month. Those will not be affected by the item.

What about events that give extra rewards to the year round encounters?
During months like March, where if you attack a Shady Poacher, you are given event currency if you win. Due to the rules I stated above, this would become a conflict as it is A. a year round encounter that only allows attacking or ignoring, and B. Is now an event encounter during March

I will admit this may be the biggest issue with this suggestion. There are three solutions to this.

1. The year round encounters are repelled no matter what month it is, regardless if they give event currency for a specific event.

This option may be the easiest, allowing the item to work as intended, however people wouldn’t be happy to be missing potential currency.

2. Any year round encounter that gives event currency during a specific month aren’t repelled at ALL when the item is used, regardless of the month.

Outside of the month that encounter is needed, people may dislike it not being included when using the item, and depending on the amount of encounters like this, it may leave the item practically worthless.

3. Any year round encounter is repelled, except the month where it gives event currency.

While this may be the best and most obvious solution, it will also be the most work. I don’t know much about coding, but I know it will be more work to make things exempt 1 month out of the year. I do think this option would make the most people happy.
