(idk how to include this without it sounding forced in the writing but Rowan snuck out of camp to fight the fox by herself :,) shes dumb like that)

Rowandawn padded through the thick undergrowth of Shadowclan territory, weaving her way through gnarled roots and puddles of mud. Moonlight dribbled through the pine trees and dappled the muddy grass beneath. The air was thick with the scent of earth and dew, but Rowandawn--a skilled warrior--could pick out the fox-scent with relative ease.
She followed the trail until it lead to the border of Shadowclan's territory, where the tree line thinned and was replaced by grassy hills. Rowandawn hesitated briefly, before breathing in the fox's scent again and pushing forward, brushing aside her worries. She had to do this, to protect her clan. Besides, how hard could fighting a fox be?
She followed the worn down path, eyeing fox print's etched into it's dirt. It was bigger than she'd thought it'd be.
She was led to a barn, with dusty red walls and stained windows, but she couldn't get to it. A wooden fence separated her and the barn. Rowandawn noticed a cat-like figure on the other side of the fence.
