Hi, almost all bases can pass themselves. Combo bases when not bred to a factor or itself are an exception. Because ankh isn't a combo base, it can be passed down!

Your best chance of ankh would be to breed 2 ankh lions together OR breed an ankh base with a combo base that it is NOT a factor for. These will give you a 4% chance per cub to breed an ankh.

Otherwise, you have a 2% chance per cub when bred to another non-ankh, non-combo special base, a rare base, or an uncommon base.

You have a 1% chance per cub when ankh is bred to a common base.

There is misinformation that matching genetics (color group, gradient, and shading) will help pass a base. As of 2022, this is no longer true, and special pass rates are set to these rates. The only thing that impacts the passing is the base rarity.

Although, you may want to keep to a certain genetics category to control the fail cubs. Mixing and matching colors can make weird-looking rares, uncommon, and common base fails. But if you only want ankh, it doesn't matter.
