ok so, I bought a new computer for aprox 500 munnies. I was saving money for an eternity so I was stoked to get it! my lovely father got to it before me however, and he claims that "you'll never learn to solve your own problems if you just get what you want" and when I tried to ask him why this was a good idea, he just brushed it off. the funny thing about it is, he didn't even open up the packaging or anything??? so far it seems like he just stole it from me, but he claims that he'll return it to me soon.. yeah.. "soon" (Update!!) I got the computer back, still packaged with everything still inside of the sealed box. Your lovely father in in the wrong. You bought it with your own money, therefore its yours. He doesn't have the right to take it. Hoping you get it back. Maybe if you can, try find where he's kept/hidden it? 1 player likes this post! Like? |

That's just abusive behavior π I don't know what to advice, as I've never been in such situation but I'm truly sorry π’ Edit It is YOUR PROPERTY. You saved the money and bought it yourself. So you definitely can take it if you know where it is hidden. The question is what next. That would probably NOT help your situation 0 players like this post! totally relate to this, moved out of my house as soon as i was legal age cause it's just irritating . . hope you get it soon though xx (maybe when he's sleeping or something you can steal it/go on it, it's what i've done  ) 0 players like this post! Like? |

Def wait, I have to deal with some not so good parents (parent now) wait it out for a bit and see what happens, after like a few weeks or however long you believe is too long and try to bring it up, or if you're home alone one day just kinda klep it. Regardless do only what you think is right, don't do something you'll believe will make ur situation worse. 0 players like this post! Like? |
