I graduated college studying environmental science, but I “wear many hats”. I’m an assistant fisheries biologist and an environmental hazards specialist. Meaning that when I’m not out sampling and studying fish, I test samples for various environmentally hazardous substances.

I’m happy to talk about either one. Or for college STEM majors (or prospective ones), I’m happy to talk about navigating college and beyond.

But ask me questions about fieldwork as a biologist, fish, fishing, environmental problems, environmental hazards, college, etc!

And if anyone is an aquarium owner; I’d LOVE to talk aquariums with you guys!

Hello! Just want to ask a few questions since I'm planning on going to uni for a course that is basically around your field of study.

What was the experience like in college? How do you manage mental health and studying? Did you have a part time job during your studies? If so, how do you manage time for it?
