I'm working on a complex daffodil universal (behind) decor with a lot of flowers. In looking at Xylax's art tutorials and in game flowers / plants with flowers, I'm not really sure whether the flowers themselves can/should have internal outlines. It appears leaves almost always have outlines to each individual leaf but I've found examples of flowers with and without. Before I color about 100 of these, I'm trying to establish which is the correct art style to follow.

This is an in game narcissus decor (a type of daffodil). It appears to have internal lines.

Here is the Uzimbeet decor that's given as an example of art style. It appears to not have internal to the flower lines.

This would be a working example of the daffodils I'm making with internal lines.

and without.

*Flowers still need sharpening details and aren't 100% finished, just shown for examples.

Hello! I'd say your best bet would be lined unless it's small and you can't fit detail/lines in. Though you could lower the opacity for internal lineart to soften it a bit.
