Locked Jaw's Cache
You step into the cold, dark cave. As you put your full weight on your paws, your claws start to dig into the soft soil. Strange scents begin to mingle with your head. You peer your eyes upward- Various assortments of items lined the cave walls. from Gems to carcasses, this place had it all. But why? Just then, a large figure nudged your shoulder. With your muscles flexed and claws unsheathed, you whirl around. The figure had the build of a lion- but his scent told you otherwise. A familiar scent... Hyena? Was he perhaps a hybrid? Just before you could open your mouth to draw in more of his scent, his voice rumbled out. "No need to be so tense, fellow traveller." Insisted the figure, his voice echoing across the cave walls. The gentle gaze of this strange creature made you feel more at ease. He seems welcoming enough, you thought, as you felt your muscles begin to relax. He slowly looked you over, waiting for you to settle. "That's more like it. Greetings. I'm King Locked Jaw." He purred. With a tap of his claw, numerous stringed jars filled with fireflies began to glow, illuminating the entire cavern. "Welcome to my humble abode. What you see here is up for grabs- but for a price. If you ever need anything, give me a yowl!"
