WIP You wander the kingdom of Mavridis, feeling quite out of place. Eventually, you settle down near a fallen log, dozing off. Your name is called… Instinctively, your head perks up and you look around, expecting to see somebody.
“Hello…” you say, with a tinge of hesitation.
You groan and sit up for better clarity, managing to pinpoint the source. Following the sound, you’re led to a deserted part of the kingdom—yet the noise persists, and so do you. You’ve been walking for around ten minutes now, and still, you haven’t seen anyone.
The noise finally leads you to a forest. You can tell it’s different from the one that surrounds the kingdom… the trees look out of place.. almost wrong. Somehow, even after walking for so long, the whispers of your name never grow any louder than when you first heard them.
Glimmering blue wisps seem to leap from tree to tree, briefly illuminating the area, yet the darkness swallows all light. The trees aren’t as tall as the evergreens that cover the kingdom, but they branch out more, unnaturally so.
You collect yourself and step in.
Slowly but surely, the light from outside the forest begins to fade. You want to stop and turn back, yet it feels as though your paws are being commanded to move.

Still walking to get out of the seemingly never-ending forest. You encounter a merchant. He tells you the exit is on the same path he's taking. Great!
