Eclipsed Sun was barely off her mother's milk when her father sold her to Nightshadestar, an old king seeking an heir. She would be the first female king of the pride, he told her, and set her up on a training schedule. She was trained in patrolling rather than hunting, because according to Nightshadestar she needed to get used to exploring as she wouldn't be a hunter when she ruled the pride.

She is a proud ruler, leading with strength. She is restless and didn't like sitting around being unproductive. She was the one to move their pride to the clouds, and although she is ruthless, she cares about the strongest in her pride. Through her leadership, the pride's stats have continued to grow, and they rarely go hungry.

Like everything else she does, she wanted to find an heir early so she would be ready for the day she retired. She had high standards for what she wanted in the child that would become her heir, and when she finally found one he was the perfect match. He was sent away from her pride in order to train.
