Feral is a clingy yet cool-headed male. He has serious trouble letting go of things due to his difficult and neglectful past along with his past timid nature.

When young, he was born in mountains that a lot of feral lions lurked, them being the only ones able to stand the harshest of snow storms in the winter. Feral was sadly born into an unstable family, them having already lost their past litter and slowly finding the couple weren't quite getting along as well as they did.
Soon, they ended things, his mother running off away from the mountains for the rest of her life, while the father stayed. feral was so young, too young to understand. "Where's mommy?"

Things went from bad to worse, a rock slide killing his father. He managed to find a place to hide, a smaller cave in the mountain. There, he met Sunbeam, his brother of sorts and also a past loner. Sunbeam took care of Feral, being older and stronger.

The two soon left the mountains, Sunbeam insisting that joining a pride would be the best bet for their survival. Feral and Sunbeam met neighboring and closely bonded prides. Due to space problems, they had to join seperate prides, Feral going with the Spotted Pride. Thankfully, they got to visit often due to how close the two prides they joined were.

Feral had grown close with Rustymane, and soon would take his place. He and his queen, Harley, would have a long and successful rule. As they got older, Feralmane had learned to let go of his past, however his rulership was defined by his want to be like Rustymane. Feral as a king had grown a little violent and angry, however he'd always be good at heart.

He'd also get stubborn, and Harley would have to help him accept that he and his friends were growing old and that he had to choose an heir soon. However he saw none of the sub males in the pride suitable for the position. That's when he and Harley questioned if the next ruler had to be a male. They knew exactly who would be a good fit, leaving way for Shine to become Queen Shortmane when Feralmane was gone.
