Bastet

Brought into the Pride of the Blazing Sun as a young, unnamed cub, Aytac bestowed upon this young lioness the name Bastet, after the Ancient Egyptian goddess of cats for her feline markings. Though she is young, she has shown a fierce desire to prove her worth to the pride and has done so by avidly and almost religiously going out with the other pride lionesses on hunting patrols. She lived through three different kings' reigns and has been a vital part of the pride through it all, her hunting skills being the best within the pride. As she grew older, she would still participate in hunts regularly, believing that just because she was growing older, doesn't mean she should stop working hard. With her old age, she was often turned to by the younger lionesses to impart wisdom, which she often did as she had much experience to share with the younger lionesses.
