Ash

This lioness had been found by Hemlock when she was an adolescent. Her former pride had no more room for her, and thus were looking for another to take her in. Hemlock always had a soft spot for cubs, and was very eager to find another addition to his pride. She grew up happily, and takes pleasure in spending time with Crow and Hawk, seeing the older lionesses as surrogate parents of sorts. in addition, she loved her other adopted siblings, Ferret (later King Daēuua) and Cherry, with all her heart.

She went on to have two cubs, Shell, and later Piper. She was young when she brought Shell into the world. Ash didn't know how to be a mother, and was very distant as a result. Once she had Piper, she had a better grasp of what she was doing, and was thus a better mother. It had been perceived as favoritism, and perhaps there was a bit of that; it hadn't been a claim Ash contested, after all. Nonetheless, she mended the relationship between herself and Shell in her later years.

Ash died bitter and angry at what her brother had done to their pride, but her daughters and her sister had her back till the end.
