Tamu, Leo's oldest lioness, had joined the pride soon after it was founded, for Leo ardently desired a queen. The Queen gave Leo two daughters, Tia and Anaïs. The former became the new Queen on her mother's passing, but the latter was chased away for her failure to bring down prey, although Anaïs did birth the future king of the Moonacre Ridge pride, fulfilling Tamu's dream to give Leo the heir he desired albeit through her younger daughter. Tamu led the pride's huntresses in many hunts, nearly always successful, and her older daughter Tia continues this tradition.
