He accepts the coat and name of James Herondale IV, much like her mother's brother so many years ago. The tawny lioness' heart swells with pride for her son, who has decided to return to follow in his family's pawprints. After Sterling steps down, she approaches Halogi, her belly rounded with the closeness of new cubs. "My son," she purrs, rubbing her cheek against his, "I am glad your siblings will be born under your crown." The lioness' crimson eyes shone with love, and pride. "Thank you, mother. And I am glad to further our family's legacy." He rumbled quietly, a small warm smile on his muzzle. Her boy had always been close with her, and warmer than he was with most others.
