She was one of the pride's smartest individuals, and although she wasn't the strongest or fastest, she could outlast and outmaneuver just about anything the Tsonga had to offer. She knew exactly how and when to use her gifts, which made her particularly formidable and well-suited for the throne she assumed after Queen Ember passed due to old age. Cayuse was slow to anger and calculated in her actions, which would make her seem lazy, but nothing could have been further from the truth. She was wise beyond her years and produced precision machines just like herself to add to the Tsonga's legendary hunting party.
