This young male has a sweet, generous nature, always putting the needs of other lions before his own. He is already being groomed as a possible heir. He shows great bravery and promise. He consideres pride leadership to be a heavy burden, and studies everything he can from his father, elder brother, and Prince Eirik. He struggles to do the right thing always, to be fair, generous, and noble; a worthy prince While many appreciate it, some of the pridemembers mock him for it, and more than a few of the adolescent males don't take kindly to what they see as brownnosing.

Kal's intentions are pure, however, and he does his best to win the naysayers over. He's very loyal to his King.
