Shime

7/25/17- Shime has passed away from old age, and the pride is in mourning.

Shime was the first lioness welcomed into the Atma Pride. Hakabi had flirted with her not so well, but she still fell for him and helped him build up his pride.
In her past, Shime had belonged to another pride far from the Atma Pride. She was a great hunter, often bringing back elephant calves and the like. So, it was questionable and shocking when she announced she was leaving the pride.
Shime's reasoning had seemed simple to her- she was tired of her pride and its traditions. One of the traditions had scared her off the most- when lionesses in that pride were a few years old, it was the usual thing to do to have cubs. Though not needed, most lionesses started their own families, and Shime didn't want that. Even if it wasn't needed or required, Shime was still scared she would have to have cubs.
So, against the wishes of her pride, Shime eventually slipped away to wander on her own. A few months later, she met Hakabi.
Shime now resides in the Atma Pride, where new traditions are still being thought of. It's a whole new pride, so Shime is absolutely excited for the future. Though she isn't planning to have cubs of her own, she loves watching over the other cubs of the pride. She's great friends with Ash and Russet, who were the first lionesses to give birth in the Atma Pride. Shime usually talks about ideas for the pride with the two mothers, and Hakabi respects the three lionesses for giving their ideas for traditions.

"Shime runs to you, asking how your day was and what happened and who you fought with and what animals have you seen today and how are you feeling and how many beetles do you have and and and - she gasps for air, and continues with questions."

"As you approach, Shime starts sniffing you furiously, trying to learn where have you been."
