· · · Heka-Sekhet of the Bel-Berith Pride · · · Queen Consort of King Malik-Bel, Sarai'i, Talya, & Erikigala Successors: Siri-Sekhet & Doa Heka-Sekhet was the second and favorite queen of the late King Malik-Bel. She is a hard-headed, strong-willed lioness who is good at making decisions, even during the hardest times. She is very territorial and extremely protective of her pride and its lions. She tends to care little about her own issues and instead focuses on the greater good of the pride. She is known for being a fierce huntress. There is an intense rivalry between Malik-Bel's two Queens, Heka-Sekhet and Abasambo. It started when the king made Heka-Sekhet the most politically powerful lioness in the pride, replacing Abasambo's position, despite the fact that Abasambo had become Queen first. Malik tried to stay out of the situation as much as possible, but he always knew that he made the best choice -- Heka is more stable and responsible than Abasambo, and far more capable of running a pride. After a major fight betwee the two of them, it was agreed upon by everyone that no future King of the Bel-Berith pride should ever have more that one Queen.
