Regal is lying on a nearby rock and gets up from it to greet you
You find Queen Regal on an outcropping observing some other lions playing below with a gentle smile.
You were pacing back and forth, frustrated at losing to a puny hyena earlier. Suddenly Queen Regal comes up to you, and softly tells you that no one is thinking badly of you for it. She soothingly kneads your mane.
Queen Regal gives a soft purring sound as a greeting, and moves over a little so you can lay down beside her.
Queen Regal sighed as the flopped down beside her pridemate, Queen Dawn. They had been close for so many years, and now, as their bones grew old together, they rested together in a large tree's shade. Lying close to them were their two daughters, the primal Princess Alexandra, Regal's daughter, and Princess Northstar, Dawn's daughter. Their two daughters were just as close as their mothers, and even now were curled next to each other. In fact, Alexandra and Northstar weren't just close, they were half-sisters. By order of the last king, Titan, Queen Regal and Queen Dawn had both mothered cubs by the king of a distant land, the primordial beast Praimfaya, and had therefore given birth to the two lionesses as half-sisters. Queen Regal rubbed her cheek against Dawn's in a moment of affection, and the two purred together. They both had recently given birth to their second litters of cubs. Regal had given birth to a beautiful female cub, who they named Anjali. She had been by a different father then Alexandra, this time the current king, Lord Art, however, Alexandra loved her new sibling just as much she loved Northstar. Meanwhile, Dawn had given birth to another female cub, named Rebel, and Anjali and Rebel had often played together, just as much as their older half-sisters had. Regal stretched out peacefully. A dazzling sunset splattered the sky and lit up the grasses of the plains beautifully. From their vantage point on top of a cluster of smooth rocks, Regal, Dawn, and their daughters enjoyed their view. As they were the highest-ranking lions in the pride, they enjoyed the best their king could give them. Even now, Regal was wearing a beautiful adornment of opals, and there was a delicate length of gold on her, extending from her ears to her nose. Similarly, her daughters were wearing just as much jewelry to show their position in the pride. The queens of the pride slept in the most comfortable cave, which was always lined with fresh mosses and feathers to their comfort. Meanwhile, some of the other of the lions in their pride faired much worse. Their king got many lionesses pregnant, yet few of the cubs or their mothers lasted long. WIP :)
