The surprise of her son being born a Primal, the first in the pride, caused a succession crisis that nearly tore the pride apart. With the backing of her mother, sister, and others in the pride, they managed to convince Rexbolt to create a compromise that favored her son, making him Heir even though he was unrelated to Rexbolt. She now enjoys the greater social status given to her as mother of the Heir, and revels in the concealed hatred of those lionesses who harbored ambitions of seeing their future son as King. However, Rexbolt has refused to allow her a place within her son's household, and she has been forced to live much like the other lionesses. Despite her reputation for trouble, she strongly believes in family bonds, and does her best to make her troublesome brood get along. Still holds her childhood desire for her older sister Talonflower's attention, but takes little notice of her younger sisters. Mother of two Primals, including the King, and the pride believes she is blessed by the spirits.
