(Queen) Araseli

Queen Araseli was manicured to produce a pulsar cub.

She was selected, groomed, adorned with fine trappings, and struck with potent frost magic, all in an effort to bring forth a cub of remarkable coat.

Depsite the luxury afforded her, Araseli is but a bird in Basir's cage. Still, her gracious demeanor endears her to the court; though her life is lavish, her fate is pittiable.

In truth, she hopes with all her heart to bring Basir's dream to light, not for his sake, but for her own. Her intuition tells her that such a cub would be bring about the dawn of great things....

Nowadays she can be found atop her spire, the Arctic Altar, a ways from the busy goings on of the high court, but close by enough to be seen from Basir's royal den.
The Queen welcomes guests and kindred lionesses with open paws. While she is the first and most lovely of the Arctic court, she has not been the last. Often times cubs and uncertain adolscents seek her wisdom, growing up among Basir's Court can be a grueling experience. Araseli always has the most sage wisdom to give.

Upon learning of Varali, hailed as the Moon Goddess in the Court of Kendi, Araseli stole away from her spire. She ran and ran until her legs seared with the strain of it, desperate to get away from Basir and to lay her eyes on the Pulsar Goddess.
Her efforts would not be in vain. Starboy, patrolling the outskirts of the Court, would intercept her. Weary from the haste of her escape, the Arctic Queen very nearly did not survive the journey through the craggy farlands.

Nursed back to health and accepted into Kendi's fold, it was not long before she was able to meet the Moon Goddess. Just as lore foretold, Varali's coat gleamed like moonbeams themselves. Araseli was immediately entranced, but collected herself. She vowed then and there to serve and guide Varali, who despite her status was but a youth.
