Apocalypse was bought by King Léopold as an older lioness with multiple cubs. She came carrying her cub in her maw, hoping for kindness. Kindness is what she and her daughter received. She had multiple failed cubs but she got to watch her daughter, War, grow up and have her own cubs. When she heard that her grandson, Neptune, was a Velvet and an heir to the throne, she was overjoyed. Many of the older lionesses like Algeria and Violeta congratulated her. Most of the older lionesses didn’t have surviving cubs within the pride, so they took up broodmother positions and looked after the cubs. Apocalypse knows that she has a place in the pride even if she never produces a special base. She looks forward to retirement and is ready to remove the aches and pains in her bones.
