Mac and Tosh

The earliest thing either cub remembered was just a week into their short life. Mac's eyes opened first, and he was finally able to look around- though nothing was clear just yet. Tosh opened his eyes just a day later. They couldn't move much yet, and with each of them controlling only half of their shared body it took them longer to learn to walk.

They enjoyed sharing their wide field of view with one another, wobbling still with each step but trying to play with the insects that traveled close enough to attempt a flopping, flailing pounce. Tosh mewled to their mother, complaining of a headache, but she simply nuzzled them, grooming each head gently "You'll be fine, my little cubs" she promised.

The seizures began that night, Mac feeling dizzy at first, unable to control anything. They fell over, entire body going stiff and tense, then began to shake. Tosh was unconscious through their first, but Mac was awake and aware, and terrified. He tried mewling for help but he couldn't get even the smallest squeak out. This unfortunate occurrence wasn't just a one-off thing, it began to happen more and more. Sometimes one mind would be awake, sometimes the other, and sometimes neither. They began to happen closer and closer together, their little body growing weaker and weaker until...-died 9.28.2019

...A tiny gasp filled their lungs as they began to see, to hear, to feel again. They had been drifting for what felt like both no time at all and eternity all at once. This time though, there was no pain, no seizures, better control. Oddly enough they no longer felt hungry either, though they still enjoyed nursing for comfort. This would be their forever. -resurrected with Canopic Jellyfish 9.28.2019-

1.20.2020 Mac and Tosh wants to race Grandpaw ℜ𝔞𝓏𝔦, and dashes away for a head start. Grandpaw ℜ𝔞𝓏𝔦 pretends to try hard to catch Mac and Tosh, but lets them win by a nose.
5.28.2020 Grandpaw ℜ𝔞𝓏𝔦 II was kind enough to entertain Mac and Tosh at the break of dawn when they woke up early. He goes on to tell them of the times you would wake up early and come tug on his mane to try and wake him up. It's funnier on the other end of it, Grandpaw!
4.3.2022 Instead of relaxing today like Grandpaw Coumarin had promised you, you spot him running circles around Mac and Tosh, taunting his grandcub every time they almost get him.
