Goddess ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข is the Goddess of love, health, and water. With an odd fascination with the forests and the animals and simply life away from Mount Asgard, the young Goddess explored frequently!
One day, lost deep within a forest of trees that reached for the clouds and covered the sky in its entirety, the young goddess stumbled upon a kingdom led by ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ซ and his heir, ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ซ๐๐ง.
Not too long after the discovery of the forest kingdom, Goddess ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข disguised herself as a princess, ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก, and approached the kingdom head-on.
"๐๐ฒ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฐ๐ก๐จ ๐ฆ๐๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐, ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ฆ?" ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ซ๐๐ง stood tall, his tail twitching with interest. An obvious purr rumbled from his throat that he desperately tried to hide.
๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก fluttered her eyes, circling around the prince to flirtatiously rub her cheek to his shoulder. "๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก. Who may you be?"
"๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ซ๐๐ง, the future king of this kingdom."
"An heir? Oh, that must be daunting!" She spoke teasingly, nestling her forehead into the prince's neck.
"I suppose it is, but it's also something I'm looking forward to." He smirked, pushing his nose briefly between her ears.
Expectantly, the two got exceptionally close. As the days and weeks and months and years passed, the death of the king marked ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ซ๐๐ง's newfound kingship. Not too long after, the marriage between ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ซ๐๐ง and ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก was finalized and the date was official.
Unfortunately, the other Gods and Goddesses weren't too fond of this mortal and immortal relationship. So, they intervened.
"๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข! You cannot be serious! Marrying a mortal? Outrages!" ๐๐ฌ๐ค๐ roared, a fire blazing from the tip of their tail and smoke expelling from their jaws.
"Unheard of!" Added ๐๐ณ๐จ๐ญ๐ฅ.
"But it's true love!" ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข wailed to the Gods.
"No feelings towards a mortal are true! That is that!" ๐๐ฌ๐ค๐ scolded before storming off. "You will not be having this silly wedding!"
With a snarl, ๐๐ณ๐จ๐ญ๐ฅ stalked after ๐๐ฌ๐ค๐.
Undefeated and persistent, ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข shook her head with a sniffle and the next morning raced to the forest kingdom where the wedding would be held at noon.
When she arrived, her blood ran cold. The God of cold and evil ๐๐๐ฒ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ง stood over the stiff and chilling body of ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ซ๐๐ง; a body drenched in blood. An icicle was wedged through the left of his neck, poking back out of the right. Blood oozed into the ground, beneath it, the grass withered.
As if everything around her turned toxic, the forest died out quickly, dead trees crashed down and wilting leaves flew to the floor as ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ขโs tears flooded around her paws. Choking just barely, she sobbed to ๐๐๐ฒ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ง "You monster!" and ran to ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ซ๐๐งโs side.
That night, ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข buried ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ซ๐๐ง just outside of the kingdom. Sniffling and crying at his grave, she suddenly heard a rustle in the bushes behind her. Her fur spiked, jaw opening to release a loud hiss.
A tigon stepped out of the bushes but it wasnโt one that ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข had seen before. Tears still streaked down her face.
The tigon stared at her, clearing its throat awkwardly before questioning, โAre you okay?โ ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข shattered at the question and broke out in a wail.
Awkward but kind, the tigon stepped over and wrapped a paw around the smaller animal. โIโm ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ค, who are you?โ
Through her sobs, ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข answered dishonestly, โ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก.โ
โ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก? Thatโs a pretty name.โ The tigon smiled warmly. ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข nodded and sobbed into the tigons thick neck fur.
โYouโre a tigon, but youโre not mean.โ She sobbed mindlessly.
โEr, yeah.โ ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ค nodded, rubbing the poor leopons back.
The two passed out eventually, awaking to the sun flickering through a thick canopy of leaves. ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข stirred, noticing ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ค wrapped around her like a clingy cat. Above her, ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข noticed a familiar blurry figure.
She jumped, โ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฌ!โ
๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ค groaned and lifted their head tiredly, โHuhhh?โ Their eyes bulged once seeing the beautiful pink lioness towering over them.
๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฌ spoke slow and gentle, nosing ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข, โYou never returned to Mount Asgard, is everything alright? I was worried about you, and whoโs your friend?โ
โ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ค--thatโs ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ค. And-I--๐๐๐ฒ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ง killed ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ซ๐๐ง!โ
โWhoโs ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ซ๐๐ง?โ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฌ stared softly. ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ค stared at ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฌ, either amazed, mesmerized, envious, or in the clouds.
โA mortal--I loved him, Mother.โ ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข broke into uncontrollable sobs once more. ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฌ wrapped around her, offering a comforting grooming session.
โYou loved a mortal?โ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฌ smiled warmly. โWell, that hasnโt happened before.โ ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข sniffled. โIโll talk to ๐๐๐ฒ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ง, I promise.โ

Later that day, ๐. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ข returned to Mount Asgard with ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ค, who insisted on coming ever since seeing the โpretty kitty.โ
