Oh my gosh, the lionesses are teaching me so much. I'm certain I will get a boost to my stats. I just hope I don't get hurt in the process.

Firstborn: Yep, I'm the firstborn cub. There's my mom Nali over there.
Ebony Cub: Your mom is pretty. I notice she has a scar, must be from effort during her hunts
Firstborn: Thanks. Yeah, I assume that's why she has a scar. What do you think of my look? I'm an adolescent too you know. I just turned 1 year old today

Firstborn: Thanks. I didn't get very far in my cub training as a cub.
Ebony Cub: Well, this is your chance to catch up. Come on. We'll go together. These lionesses are teaching me so much! I'm nearly halfway to full cub training and I'm not even 1.5 years old yet. It's only 1-2% per hunt, but it adds up fast. And, once you turn 2 years old, if it reaches a certain point, you will get a boost to your stats.
Firstborn: Like, mom's stats or above kind of a boost?
Ebony Cub: If you get high enough, yes.
