《 Biography 》
The lioness named Dyani had been gone missing after an afternoon hunt had returned. Being the evasive and timid type, she had often gone about her hunts independently, bringing in small kills a lone huntress would be able to catch. Yet when the other four huntresses she had gone with returned without her presence, the tribe was sent out to go looking for the missing black lioness.
Flóki had been the one to find her, peacefully sleeping beside of pool of water. It had been dusk, yet the lioness's appearance had been changed in a way that made the patterns and markings on her fur more vibrant and visible. She also appeared younger, her youthful features having returned and she moved with a grace attributed to young age. As the king approached her, Flóki was met with wariness. He, nor their pridemates, were recognized by the lioness, and the name she had given them was not Dyani, but instead Dynja.
The pride didn't have a healer, but Dynja had been taken back into the pride to regain her memories, as most of the pride concluded Dyani had sustained an injury and had gotten some type of amnesia. However, her different coat and behavior wasn't explained by that conclusion. Nor was her seemingly youthful appearance. No one was able to fully comprehend what happened that day, but

Flóki wasn't romantically in love with Dynja. He wasn't even in love with the pride's queen and his supposed mate, Þórdís. His relationship with her was purely out of power and for a pure lineage. As for Dynja, he may share the mutual feelings of respect, trust, and loyalty, but he wasn't in love. He never felt the passion of it, with whatever he may be doing with her. He didn't think of her as his own kin either. No, what he had or felt for the lioness was something called a squish.

You and Dynja got in some trouble with a vicious warthog. After escaping, she suggested you ought to invite the hog for a visit the next time you have guests, for it could liven up any party. You share a chuckle.
Dynja watches you amusedly, and states dryly that she did not know broken feathers were in fashion nowadays. You hastily remove the offending debris from your mane.
You greet Dynja and ask her how she is. She informs you that she is FANTASMIC, and she is ABSOLUTELY fine with not getting a share of the last meal. Really.

《 Biography 》
Dyani had always been isolated from the others, often avoiding social situations and shying away from her pridemates. With her birth pride having grown too large, she sought her own freedom by leaving her home. She entered Akecheta's pride when she was only a young adolescent, wary at first but curious about the pride's way of life. They were a more peaceful, spiritual tribe, which had captivated young Dyani's attentions.
The heir to the pride was around her own age, an adolescent lion named Gawonii. He had often gone out on ventures to become more like her father in the way of knowledge of the land, as well as to seek a deeper understanding of the wildlife and interconnected existence of all forms of life. She would often tail him on his ventures, until he wheeled about and called her out on her uninvited presence. Despite this, Dyani continued to follow him along on his journeys.
Over time they grew close, Gawonii explicitly inviting her to join him instead of trailing him like a stealthy assassin. As they shared meals, exchanged stories and thoughts, and created a plethora of memories together, the pride had suspected their blooming relationship would convince Gawonii to appoint her as his queen once the pride passes onto his paws.
