A gal raised in the depths of the snowy mountains, Blizzard was born in a harsh desert, an only child. The former pride she was in had been struggling with heat, so their half-brained king, instead of choosing somewhere more moderate, decided to head for the snowiest of mountains.
Blizzard, as a young cub, was excited to go through the mountains. Before they had officially crossed into the mountains, her mother picked a bundle of red flowers for her small daughter
The pride settled near the top of the mountains, where snowstorms soon became a problem. The snowstorms had driven both prey and any remaining warmth away from the pride. Meanwhile, Blizzard was showing much potential as a young adol, so at the command of the pride's leader, she had soon set off to find their pride a new home.
Days and nights she weaved through the mountains, struggling immensly. One day, though, she came across an aggressive "king of flight" that you may just see following her high in the sky to this very day. She managed to impress it with her combat skills and it has led her through the storms and tricky paths of the mountains.
Eventually, she had made it to a tropical rainforest with the perfect climate for the pride. Her and the bird headed back to the mountains in a hurry, Blizzard happy to be somewhat of a hero to them... or she thought she would be. When they had finally returned to the heart of the pride, she was devistated to find her pridemates dead, either by the lack of prey or the fatal, aggressive snowstorms that could make any hot-blooded animal turn to ice.
She cried there, yet knew she had to move out quickly as to not meet the same fate. Sadly, she picked up the bundle of red flowers her mother refused to leave behind and left the mountains for good.
Eventually, she ran into Rustymane and joined the pride where she has stayed and will stay for the rest of her days, yet she often visits the close-by mountains from her childhood, remembering her former pride, her mother, and wonder what would have happened if she instead took the whole pride out with her...
As the years went by, Blizzard Bays became one of the best lionesses in the pride. She'd retire after nursing her 3rd cub, saying that she'd done all her duties to the pride and was ready to join Rustymane and the spirits. In The Pride of Spirits, she'd be reunited with her present pride along with the mountain pride she'd been born to.
