June 2021- My father has informed me I am not to be King. We shall see about that. I am to patrol with that brute, Ico. I am not sure how I feel about this situation... September 2022 I have learned that I am to train three young males so that Xenophon may choose an heir to the pride. Their names are Prince Pan, Prince Perceptor and Prince Dion. October 2022- Pan has decided to leave the pride. Him and Perceptor got into an argument about Pan's values and how they did not align with Xenophon's or truly any of the other pride members. Dion seems to be handling everything very well. It's been a large discussion amongst the Advisors, Elders, and our King on who the next king shall be. Whilst Perceptor has proven himself time and time again, I feel Xenophon is leaning towards Dion... I do no blame him, the young male is eager to learn, listens very carefully and heeds what the Elders and Advisors tell him, and is very compassionate and encouraging to the young cubs. Perceptor ignores the youngsters, claiming they are hindering his learning. I truly cannot wait for Dion to be old enough to patrol on his own, and not for any bad reasons... I just believe he will do wonderfully out on his own. --- You go to get a drink of water and find Prince Bowser holding still, using his shadow to attract fish for easy catching. Nice. - A flock of tiny birds are playing and pouncing all over Prince Bowser. He is just remaining where he is, humming softly and letting them go at it. ---- You come upon Protector Bowser gently snoozing despite a few intrepid young monkeys trying to get a rise out of him by chattering and throwing twigs. --
