Biography
Corvak was startled at the sight of a feline too small to be a lion stalking around on the outskirts of his pride. He was about to chase off this intruder, then he realized it was just Bonk practicing his pouncing.

Bonks Backstory

Jacques sauntered onto the beach, his colored coat glinting in the light. He walked in the tide, splashing in the water and pouncing on the incoming waves, laughing.

When he tired himself out, he walked onto the dry sand and shook himself off, his mane poofing out while it dried. He laid down, facing the ocean and became lost in thought.

As he scanned the ocean-line, something caught his eye. A body! It’s small frame being almost completely covered by the water each time the waves came in.

He leapt up and sprinted over. Laying there was a young male leopon. Passed out and soaking wet, wearing full-body jewelry.

“Yo! Dude! You alright?” Jacques asked, nudging the pons head with his paw. No response. “Hmmm..” Jacques thought for a moment. What was the best way to wake this pon up?

“Oh!” He exclaimed. “I need to dump some water on his face!” He looked around for some sort of bowl. He took a large leaf he broke off from a nearby tree and scooped up some water. Spilling nearly all of it on his way back to the pon, he drizzled what was left on the pons face. There was no reaction. “Oh dear.” Jacques said, dropping the leaf as another wave came up and sloshed around the pons body and head.

“Oh.” Jacques said, realizing the pon had been having water already splashed on his face for who knows how long. He took the pon by the scruff and dragged him out of the water and sat down next to him, thinking what to do next.

Jacques started to fret as time went on without the pon waking up. He could see he was still breathing, but cat naps don’t usually take so long. So Jacques leaned down to the pons ear and roared.

The pons eyes snapped open and his fur immediately stood on end as he screamed and scrambled away.
“Woah man, chill, it’s cool!” Jacques said, standing to follow the pon.

“What? Who-? Wh-where am I? Who are you?” The pon said frantically, crouched down in a defensive pose.

“Hey, dude, I’m Jacques.” He said, sitting back down slowly. “You passed out in the water or something, I saved you.” He grinned.

The pon looked at his surroundings, looking uncertain. “Where am I?” He asked slowly.

“You’re welcome. And you’re on a beach bro!”

“Yes..”

“Who are you?” Jacques looked at the shiny jewelry on the pon, “You a prince or something?”

“I-.. I don’t.. know...” the pon smoothed his fur down and placed his paw on his head. “Ouch..”

“You good?” Jacques asked, creeping forward.

“M-my head. Feels like a rhino charged at me..”

“Let me see,” Jacques sidled up to the pon and moved his paw to see his head. “Oh my. You’re bleeding on your head. Let’s go! And since I don’t know what to call you, I’m gonna call you ‘Bonk’ because it looked like you bonked your head.” He said, wrapping his tail around the small pon to guide him.

“Go where!?” The pon said, “I don’t think that’s my name..” Bonk said, looking at his bloodied paw.

“To my pride so you can get healed. And I think it’s a great name so, follow me Bonk.” Jacques nudged the pon who reluctantly followed. It wasn’t like there was anywhere else for him to go..

In the Flower Fields of the late king Corvak

The recent rain showers had given life to the flowers in Corvaks flower field. They had just barely opened their petals, and the mixed scents of the flowers and rain drowned out almost all other scents. Except rabbit.
Miracle was on the trail of a particularly juicy looking one, her body low, peeking through the tall grass at the rabbit that was grooming itself. She readied herself for launch, wiggling her haunches and flexing her claws, when the rabbit perked its head up, ears swiveling, and darted away. Cursing, Miracle gave chase, her small body easily maneuvering wherever the rabbit tried to lose her. But it disappeared. At Miracles paws was the creatures den. Frustrated, she swiped some mud at the entrance and stalked away to find out what had scared her prey off, because it certainly wasn’t her!

She cooled off as she headed back over the field to where she had been. She was expecting some cub that wandered off to try and get some extra training in, and she prepared herself to perhaps teach the young one how to be invisible while hunting.
Instead of a cub however, Miracle looked up to see a young male pon! Decorated in iridescent pearls and as pink as the flowers surrounding him. He actually blended in quite well.

“Um, hello.” Miracle said, after a moment of silence. “Who are you?”

The pon was looking at Miracle, his mouth slightly agape, full attention on her, and standing perfectly still. When she asked who he was however, he closed his mouth and flicked his tail, glancing down at his paws for a brief second. “Hi..” he said quietly. “I’m- not sure..” his ears went down in embarrassment.

“Not sure.. of what? Who you are?” Miracle tilted her head, eyes looking the male over.

He shuffled his paws a bit, his ears turning pinker as Miracle looked him over and asked more questions. “I don’t remember.. your friend gave me a name but.. I don’t think it’s right.” He sat down quickly, wrapping his tail over his paws and fidgeting with it.

’Doesn’t know who he is?’ She thought to herself. “What name did my friend give you then?” She asked, mirroring the male and sitting.

“Bonk...” he said, almost too quietly to hear as he stared at his paws. His eyes flicked up to see what Miracles reaction would be to such a ridiculous name.

“Oh, so it was Jacques.” She guessed and sighed. “You don’t have to keep that name. Jacques isn’t known for good creativity.” She smiled.

“I don’t have anything else..” Bonk said, looking up properly at Miracle again now that he knew she wasn’t going to laugh at him. His heart fluttered when he saw her smile, and he quickly turned his attention back down at his paws to play mindlessly with a flower.

“Well, Bonk, do you know where you came from?”

He shook his head. “Jacques found me on a beach, washed up. Said I was bleeding on my head, and brought me here. Your healer stopped my bleeding, and your king said I could stay if I wanted to. I guess it was pretty clear that I can’t do any harm... so Ive just been walking around. I’m sorry I scared off your rabbit. I didn’t know you were even there.”
Nervous and flustered, Bonk rambled on. “I didn’t even see the rabbit until it started running. I’d offer to catch you another one, but I’m not sure I’d know how to. But you’re really fast.” He added awkwardly, trying to compliment her.

“It’s ok,” she chuckled, “we aren’t short of food here. I was just getting some exercise in.” She shrugged it off. “But, it’s nice to meet you. My name is Miracle.”

Bonks ears went down again as he realized he never asked for this ladies name! It was a beautiful one though.. like her.. he shook his head, feeling his skin get hot.
“Okay.” he said, responding to the rabbit comments. Realizing that would sound like a response to her name, he quickly corrected himself, “Um, that’s a nice name.” He smiled a little, swishing his tail happily when she smiled back.

“Thank you,” Miracle said, holding in a small laugh. “If you’d like, I could teach you to hunt. That is, if you really don’t remember how.” She offered.

Bonk smiled at the idea of getting to spend more time with Miracle, “Yes, thank you, I’d like that.”
