Chioni

Chased off from his former pride, Chioni wandered, half-starved from poor hunting due to how his white fur stuck out against the lush green of wet season plants. When Vodi found him huddled near the pride's newly-made den, Chioni expected to be killed. Instead, Vodi groomed him like a cub and drug him inside by the scruff to eat. Though Agelada disliked it, Burha took to him like one of her own and Vooeidi and Moschari enjoyed his company immensely. Chioni has sworn to help Vodi maintain his territory, even once he's grown.

Though he was less effected by Agelada's departure, as she'd never been fond of him, Chioni still gave his all to comforting Vodi and Burha through the loss of her. It solidified his place in the pride as he took up some of Vodi's duties and patrols in the process, and he's never been prouder than when Vodi officially named him his second.
