Mariposa

Mariposa was born after a one time fling between a stray male and an unwanted lone lioness. She grew up on the road with her mother, being shown the ropes of surviving and the dangers of the wild world they were both inhabitants of. Mariposa loved her mother, and her mother loved her, very much. However, once she grew to be an adolescent, Mariposa left to live a life on her own.
Loner life never treated her easy, but once she discovered her bizarre talent of Savagespeak. the ability to talk to wild creatures other than felidae and canidae passed down by the ancient tigon ancestor, the Patron of Species. It allowed her to pass through areas she would normally be too anxious about passing through.
Eventually, she found herself in a gorge full of battling pride leaders. She was enamored by the sport, and joined in with the festivities. Not the fighting, but the gaggle of young lions that cheered on the participants. Eventually, she found herself in the crowd of a large, firey pelted lion. He came out victorious, and caught the attention of Mariposa. Enchanted, she met up with him thanks to their mutual friendship in V'kai. She was offered to join his pride, and she accepted gratefully.
Now, she's a loyal member of the Ad Astra pride and uses her Savagespeak to assist Macambre and the pride they call home.
