As such, the poor cub grew distant, and cold, convinced he was a monster. Those who didn't believe he was were only proved wrong, in a spark of anger and denial. But then came two, two lions that hadn't left him, even when a bitten animal bit back. The only ones who saw him as the hurt, scared, and neglected cub he was. The only ones he cared about. And soon, he had not only a duo of brothers, but a father, and a pride. They were his family.
