Nettlewhisper

Nettlewhisper has quite literally weaponized snark. Her confronting other lions - especially no-manes - is like watching a train wreck in motion; you just can’t look away even as the poor guy in question gets verbally eviscerated. Hyenas especially are not spared, Nettlewhisper has reduced more than one to literal gibbering wrecks with sharp words alone. And while it might seem overly harsh, it really isn’t: these same creatures would without hesitation kill her or her cubs, they deserve no quarter in her eyes. That being said, Nettlewhisper is talented in more than just bringing others down - she’s an incredible motivational speaker, able to get even the most despairing creature out of a funk.

Tired from a long day of exploring, King Shard Dancer flops next to Nettlewhisper. She starts telling him an embarrassing story from a pride mate's cubhood, and he’s soon laughing too hard to be tired.

On a morning stroll, King Shard Dancer and Nettlewhisper notice a bird nest, full of baby birds. She asks if she's the best chick around, and he better not say no.

King Shard Dancer goes up to take a nap with Nettlewhisper. She jokes that if he start snoring, her king may find some maggots in his nose. King Shard Dancer lies awake next to her and wonders if she really meant that.
