Tapir

Tapir was considered an odd lioness even from cubhood. She was disowned by her mother due to shell’s odd markings, calling her a “hyena cub” and ignoring her needs despite being completely reliant on her. This caused extreme trust issues and Tapir tending to isolate herself when situations became dire. Despite her mother’s neglect, Tapir survived into adulthood where she met Stampede, the lioness who would show shell how it truly feels to be loved. The two grew inseparable quickly, and when Stampede became pregnant by a ruthless rival king, she refused to leave Stampede’s side and became her number one supporter throughout the ordeal. The two promised to raise each other’s cubs as if they were each other’s, like a family, and this devotion warmed Tapir’s heart and slowly allowed shell to learn to trust again.
Due to her upbringing, it’s very hard for Tapir to trust lions shell doesn’t know well, so warming up to her could take a lot of time and effort. However, once you’re able to crack her shell, Tapir is a strong, loyal lioness who would do whatever it takes to defend her family.
