Jambu, the second adopted child of Hakim, never thought he would find love. Not because no one liked him, just because he didn't think he would ever want to be in love. One day however, while he was out on patrol, he chanced across a dwarf lioness. She was so different from anyone he had ever met! And not just appearance-wise.. She was stronger in spirit, and braver and more confident than any other lion he knew. She was bold, sassy, but also tender, caring, and sweet. She was honest, trustworthy and loyal. More so than most lions. After their first encounter, they met again in secret, many, many times. He tried to deny it, but there was no use. He was falling for her. But their love was forbidden, because no prince was allowed to produce tainted blood. He would lose his throne, or his life.
